Difference between American football and Rugby

Difference between American football and Rugby   The main difference is that football can't use the upper limbs to touch the ball, and Rugby can use the various parts of the body to touch the ball.   1, dress In order to prevent injuries, American football players usually have steel helmets, shoulders, breastplates, shoulder pads, elbow pads, hip pads, knee pads, stock pads, hand guards, ankle guards, etc., and a pair of helmets must be added. Wireless Headphones.     Rugby players don't need to wear a sponge on their body, just wear a regular squad and put a braces in their mouths.     2, time An American football game is 60 minutes and is divided into 4 sections, each of which is 15 minutes. There is a short break of 2 minutes between the first and second quarters and between the third and fourth quarters, and a long break of 20 minutes between the second and third quarters. A rugby match takes 80 minutes, and there are only two halves in the upper and lower half and a 10-minute break between the half.   3. Number of players In 1880, the American Football Association stipulated that there were 11 players in each team, four of whom were defenders, seven were forwards, and there were three substitute players "in case of any eventuality." There are 15 players in the rugby team, 8 forwards and 7 guards.   4, the direction of running American football emphasizes "aggressiveness". Every time the team kicks off, the players must try their best to push the ball forward. If the player can't push the ball after 4 times, they must hand the ball to the ball. The other party, turned to the other team to attack. However, in the rugby match, the ball must be passed to the players behind him. After the player falls to the ground, the ball must be "dismissed" immediately, and the other players can be robbed, so it is particularly prone to the scene of "the pyramid".   5, scoring method There are two ways to score a rugby game - a touchdown score and a goal score. Holding the ball touched the goal line, called the touchdown, got 5 points. After the touchdown, the scoring team can also kick the shot once on the imaginary line perpendicular to the goal line and score 2 points. The penalty kick scored by one foul and the kick shot in the game scored 3 points. The American football scores are divided into three types—the touchdown score, the field goal, and the safety score. He scored 6 points with the ball touched the ground. After the touchdown, he scored a goal and scored 1 point. In the middle of the game, he scored 3 points. In the opponent's scoring area, the opponent is forced into a dead ball, which is counted as a safe score and scores 2 points.
